On March 19, 2003, the United States and The United Kingdom launched a local war against Iraq on the grounds of "hiding weapons of mass destruction". For seven years, good prevailed over evil and the government of Saddam hussein was overthrown. During the war, there was one resource that the Middle East was famous for all over the world, and that was oil. As is known to all, oil plays a very high role in energy, and the only advantage Iraq has in the war is oil. But later in the war, the oil was squandered by the Iraqi military, even when the army pulled out of the Kuwaiti oil fields by setting large oil Wells alighting and dumping huge amounts of oil into the Persian Gulf. This caused serious Marine pollution and the lives of people along the coast were being damaged by gasified oil and toxic substances.
