There are many types of trauma bandages, and the following are some common types:
Gauze bandage: This is the most traditional and common type of bandage. It is made of gauze, has good air permeability and water absorption, and is suitable for bandaging various wounds. The length and width of gauze bandages have various specifications, such as the common specifications of 5cm wide and 600cm long and 8cm wide and 600cm long.

Elastic bandage: A special soft bandage woven from elastic fibers. It is mainly used for post-traumatic limb swelling, limb venous return obstruction, and limb lymphedema. It has a greater auxiliary therapeutic effect on limb sprains, soft tissue abrasions, and joint swelling and pain. It can play a fixing role and has certain benefits for the repair of damaged ligaments. It can also be used to protect joints such as wrists and ankles during sports. It is a multifunctional bandage. For example, in the emergency treatment and rehabilitation stage after an athlete is injured, an elastic bandage can provide moderate pressure, help reduce swelling and pain, and promote the recovery of the injured part.

Self-adhesive elastic bandage: Made of pure cotton or elastic non-woven fabric sprayed with natural rubber, the material is rotated and cut. It is used for clinical external fixation and bandaging, and can also be used to protect wrist, ankle and other joints during sports. The advantage of this bandage is that it is self-adhesive and does not require additional tape to fix. It is convenient to use and can fit the body parts well, providing a stable bandaging effect. It is more suitable for bandaging some minor injuries or parts that need to be frequently moved, such as bandaging after sprained finger joints. It can provide necessary support and protection, and will not be easily loosened due to activities.

Sports protective bandage: mainly for different use ranges such as sports protection, medical bandaging, and medical fixation. Imported medical glue is used to make the fixation not easy to fall off, and it has strong elasticity and resiliency. In some high-intensity sports, such as football, basketball and other highly confrontational sports, athletes are prone to injuries. Sports protective bandages can play an emergency bandage and fixation role when injured. At the same time, they can also be used to prevent injuries in daily training, such as preventive bandages for knee joints, ankle joints and other easily injured joints.

Viscose plaster bandage: a bandage made of powdered calcined gypsum, polyvinyl alcohol, and polyvinyl acetate emulsion to make a certain concentration of homogenate, evenly coated on gauze, dried, and cut. This bandage is used in situations where strong support is required for fixing fractures. It can be shaped according to the shape of the injured part. After drying, it can provide a relatively strong fixation effect and help the healing of the fracture site. However, due to its relatively hardness, it is necessary to avoid excessive pressure on the skin when using it.

Four-head bandage: made by cutting rectangular cotton cloth or gauze from both ends. It is more convenient in bandaging some specific parts, such as bandaging the head, eyes, etc., and a better fixation effect can be achieved by adjusting the position of the four heads. It is often used for bandaging smaller wounds or parts that require special fixation methods.

Chest band and abdominal band: chest band is used to fix the dressing on the chest or increase the pressure; abdominal band is used to fix the abdominal dressing. They are designed mainly to adapt to the physiological structure of the chest and abdomen. In cases of chest or abdominal injury, post-surgery, etc., they are used to fix the dressing to prevent the dressing from shifting. At the same time, they play a certain role in protecting and compressing the wound, helping to reduce bleeding and promote wound healing.
