The report quoted an anonymous source as saying that Jonatan Ulrich, a former spokesman for Israel's right-wing Likud party, "removed the footage from surveillance in order to use it 'against or to threaten' Galant." But Ulrich said he had no knowledge of the incident, the Ynet news network said.
In addition, a senior political official was quoted as saying that Netanyahu and his aides regularly tried to "humiliate" Galant at the time.
