At least 7 people were killed in a suicide bombing at a restaurant near Somalia's presidential palace Wednesday, Al Jazeera reported. Later, the Somali "al-Shabaab" claimed responsibility for the incident.
According to reports, Somali National Police spokesman Sadiq Dudishe said that the 29 explosion occurred in central Somalia near the presidential palace in a restaurant.
"All the casualties were customers who were drinking tea in the shop," Duduchet said.
Reports say the restaurant is frequented by members of Somali security forces and civilians.
Later, the Somali "al-Shabaab" claimed responsibility for the incident.
